Wowza!

We must say a huge thanks to everyone that has been coming in lately- you help to keep us open and serving you as best we can! To our regular visitors and our new friends, thank you so much! We look forward to seeing you all in the cafe again soon.

As ever, we are offering some great food and treats for you to try. We pride ourselves on offering panini and sandwich fillings that you just won't find elsewhere, along with cakes, cupcakes and all the other goodies that we stock!

Feeling chilly? Warm UP!

Feeling the icy winds and relentless rain a bit too much? You're welcome to pop into UP Cafe to sample some of our warming treats. There are hot chocolates to try (including regular, minty, praline or caramel), our gingerbread latte and mini mince pie offer (only 2.80) and more. Of course, if you fancy something more substantial then there's soup, panini or toasties.

We're always trying out new ideas for sandwich and panini fillings, and there have been some very popular specials of late, including;

- Chicken in chilli mayo with grilled mushrooms

- Roast pork, apple sauce and stuffing

- Goat's cheese, spinach and Jalapeno relish

- the 'Pizzanini'

Warm UP! New Hot Chocolate Specials now available!

The chill of winter is upon us folks, and thus it's the perfect time to try one of our new Hot Chocolate Specials! These delightful winter warmers are a perfect hot treat for you whether you're on a lunch break, out shopping or just stopping by to relax.

As with everything we do, they can be made to be enjoyed in or to take away. The Hot Chocolate specials are £2.80 each and are made using high quality ingredients. Each is served in luxuriously large cups for your enjoyment.

Our current Hot Chocolate Specials include...

-Praline Hot Chocolate with cream and Nutmeg sprinkles

-Minty Hot Chocolate with Cream and grated mint chocolate topping

-Caramel Hot Chocolate with cream and vanilla sprinkles

Coffee Pride

Andy here! Something I've noticed since I started working here back in march (back when the place had a different name and a different style) is the level of pride that the staff take in making the various coffees that we offer. The man behind the finest of them (and indeed responsible for showing the rest of us how it's done) is Arman, who can do some truly delicious things with steamed milk.

I was terrified of learning how to make the various hot drinks, as I'd never really made many previously. Arman took me through it all step by step, and now I find it very satisfying to make coffees well. That sums it all up for us really- we enjoy what we do and we endeavour to make the best drinks and food for our visitors to enjoy. Whether your thing is an Americano, latte, cappucino, macchiato or flat white, you can be sure of a damn fine beverage here at UP! Cafe Nottingham.

UP! Cafe: Current Panini Favourites

 We're noticing which of our delicious panini are proving to be more popular than others, and there are three that are always snapped up every time we make them for you folks to enjoy. These are;

Chilli and garlic chicken with red peppers

Goat's Cheese with  onion chutney and rocket

And this week there's been a fair few appreciative noises about our salami, cheddar and mushroom panini and the delicious chicken in chilli mayo with red onion flavour. However, we're always happy to make new fillings for you to enjoy, so please do feel free to suggest sandwich or panini fillings that you'd enjoy and we'll see what folks think! Welcome to UP! Cafe Nottingham

Hello there! Whether you're a regular already or a new visitor to our cafe, we'd like to welcome you to our blog. This is the place that you can find out latest menus, our special offers, customer quotes and personal posts from your humble staff.

We pride ourselves on being that little bit different to other places in the area, with an eclectic menu each day, dedicated and friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere.

In the mornings you can pop in for a coffee to have in or take away, along with delicious breakfast treats such as bagels, toasted teacakes, breakfast panini or our popular (and rather unique) savoury muffins.

At lunchtime you can choose between a range of sandwiches and toasted panini (with some very different fillings) made fresh every day with fresh breads and ingredients, as well as soup of the day, salads and quiche.

In the afternoon, how about tea and a scone or coffee and (home-made) cake? We also carry a range of delicious cupcakes, traybakes and more.

Along with great surroundings, a nice atmosphere and free Wi-Fi access, UP! cafe is the place to wake up, eat up and drink up!
